Open Gardens 2008
Rushall opened its gardens on Sunday 15th June to over 200 guests who came from as far afield as Japan! The event was a resounding success and raised a significant amount for the church. Rain held off for most of the day enabling the visitors to enjoy the beautiful gardens unhampered by the soggy summer weather we seem to have been suffering recently. Guests were impressed by both the gardens and the fantastic organisation, which meant that the day and the shuttle bus ran like clockwork. An enormous vote of thanks to Pat Leigh and Tim Webster for their organisation and to all the members of the village that opened their gardens, or helped out on the day.
